Egypt’s Infrastructure Market

Egypt’s economy is the second largest in the Middle East; its strong economic sectors reflect its size and growth. Egypt now has a gross domestic product (GDP) of USD 500 billion and the growth rate has been rising exceptionally for the past decade. The country’s GDP increased to 5.1% in 2010 compared to 4.7% the previous year. The biggest contributor to the national GDP is the services sector with a 48.7% share, followed by industry and agriculture with a 37.6% and 13.7% share respectively.
